When I started The Good of Yesterday, I had every intention to continue on with it. Sadly I was not able to continue with it at that time, as things had gotten very complicated in my life. So I placed it on the back burner along with The Wake of December (I’m very sad to say that I lost that saved game 😭), but now…things have gotten better for me!
I am excited to announce that The Good of Yesterday will be making a comeback this summer! I have already gotten some things ready for the story and am in the process of writing it right now. I will keep you all updated as I go along.
If you don’t follow that story, I hope that you do! It’s going to be a good one, I think. 😉 If you do follow it already, then a thousand times thank you so much for your support!
Last time you saw Sparrow Monroe, she was a teenager. Just to give you a sneak peak, here’s a picture of her as a young adult:
First off, I’d like to take this time to thank everyone who has followed and read this story throughout the years! Without you, I probably would’ve quit this story after the first crash–LOL. However, you all have kept me going and I appreciate that, so thank you!!!
Secondly, I wanted to let you all know that this story will definitely go on. In fear that my laptop would be going out any day now (it’s been really slow and it’s over 2 years old), I had decided to transfer the story over to my desktop, which is a much newer and better system. Well last night, I started the stages of transferring it over, but I ran into the problem of not having two of the EPs I originally had on my laptop (Pets, WA, and IP have been missing for awhile and I can’t find it to save my life! 😦 ). So I was able to make a new game and save that one, then transfer that Meta.data file over to The Willows Saves file, overwriting that Meta.data file. However, that didn’t work because I didn’t have the same world installed on this game that I had on my laptop. So then I had to download Alpine County onto my desktop and install it into this game. Once I did that and loaded my game up, everything loaded just fine!
So from the next chapter on up, everything is going to change. You won’t see anyone else from the Willow family anymore, as you’ll be seeing Adelia’s story from here on out. I will eventually post all the other characters up for download, if anyone wants them too. 🙂
And lastly, I have created a new blog that will showcase all of my stories as well as creations and anything else I do with the Sims. I purchased a domain for it and am almost done getting it all setup. So when it’s done, I will post it here to let you all know! 😀
Thank you all again for being such amazing readers and supporters, I appreciate you all so much!!!!
EDIT TO ADD: So I feel stupid now! I figured out that all I had to do was enter in the product codes for the games I was missing into Origins and it redownloaded. 🤦♀️ Thanks goodness I still had the packaging for IP and Pets! I also found the CD for the base game! Only thing still missing is WA, but that’s not detrimental right now. 🙂
I hope you like the new look! As mentioned in my previous post, I am dealing with my husband’s illness, so I will only be working on this story and have postponed the contest until further notice. In the meantime, I am asking you all a favor…
Before I continue on with this story, I would like some feedback from you all. Just a few sentences on how you like or don’t like this story, what you like best about it or what you don’t like about it, blah blah blah. This is to just help me stay motivated and would lift my spirits to see some feedback.
You can submit your reviews here in the Comments section below. I really appreciate it! ❤
First off, an apology is in order. I haven’t updated in awhile because my family and I are dealing with a major illness in the family. It’s not me, but my husband who was diagnosed with kidney disease. His legs are so swollen and red and his kidneys are in pain as well as among other symptoms he’s been experiencing. On top of that, he also has an umbilical hernia and a slipped disk from an old construction injury.
Since he is sick, he won’t be able to work that much longer, which forced me to get a 2nd part-time job, which is why I haven’t been active lately.
In the meantime, for my own mental therapy, I will be working on The Life & Times of the Willows. I don’t know when my next update will be, but it will be within this month.
Thanks for following my story and keep your eye out for Chapter 3.7.

This was a veeeery close vote. It pretty much stayed tied throughout majority of the time. I didn’t expect to get so many votes this early on–19 to be exact–so thank you very much for your participation!
Now onto the winner of the Generation 3 Heir!
And the winner is…
Adelia Maureen Willow!
With 7 out of 19 votes
Now I’ve been sick with a viral infection in my throat for the past week and a half, which was the only reason why I was able to spit out these last couple of chapters, including the poll so quickly. I go back to work tomorrow, so I won’t have this much time anymore, but I will start working on chapter 1 of generation 3 tonight. Feel free to comment or ask any questions you may have in the meantime.
Thanks again for everyone’s participation and we shall continue on with generation 3 of The Life & Times of the Willows! 🙂
Hey guys! I want to thank you for reading generation 2 and for sticking around during my long hiatuses. I feel so proud of myself for pushing through it all and completing this generation. I’ve never been able to do that before, LOL. Anywho, now onto the generation 3 heir poll!

I just realized that as of the month of January, I have had this legacy story blog for two years now! I’m incredibly late, but I’d like to thank all of you for reading and following this story for this long and for being patient with me through all of the mishaps! I not only write for myself, but I write for you too, and your support is very overwhelming and much appreciated! Here’s to another two years!
On November 11th, my father passed away due to his long 19-year battle with heart disease. In June, he had a stroke, and then in mid-August, he had a second stroke. After his stroke, it left him pretty messed up. He was able to move around and everything, but it had affected part his brain. While he was in the hospital, he was very confused, scared, and would hallucinate. They had to restrain in the bed because he was getting physical with the nurses (which is completely unlike him), and he escaped the hospital twice. He was in there for three weeks before he was finally able to come home, which was a very good thing because he almost went to a psych ward. He seemed to have been doing as good as can be expected, but apparently his heart just gave out on him unexpectedly. He died peacefully at home, which is comforting, and not somewhere in public or in the hospital.
So of course, this prevented me from working more on the next chapter. His funeral is this Saturday, and I still have several homework assignments to catch up on, so it looks like I will have some time next week to continue on with the chapter. Once again, thank you for being patient and sticking around.
